Roff T21 Extrofix Ultra Grey Tile Adhesive | High-Flexibility S1 Polymer-Modified Bedding for Large Format Slabs & External Facades (20 Kg Bag)
Provide a heavy-duty, shock-absorbing anchor for massive architectural surfaces with the Roff Extrofix Ultra (T21) 20 kg Grey Tile Cementitious Adhesive. Expertly formulated by Pidilite for demanding engineering applications, this ultra-premium, highly polymer-modified cementitious compound is designed to withstand exceptional structural stresses, micro-vibrations, and extreme exterior weather changes.
Extra-large format vitrified tiles, heavy natural stone panels, and slim porcelain slabs placed on high-rise facades, external walls, and open terraces undergo constant physical stress due to shifting wind loads, structural settling, and seasonal thermal expansion. Traditional rigid mortars crack easily under these forces, leading to dangerous bonding failures. This specialized 20 Kg grey formulation solves structural liabilities completely by utilizing a highly deformable S1 flexibility framework that safely absorbs underlying substrate shifts while maintaining an intense mechanical and chemical grip.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Class S1 High-Deformability Framework: Engineered with a flexible, shock-absorbing polymer matrix that moves slightly with the building substrate, effortlessly handling heavy structural vibrations, wind shear, and high-impact stress.
-
Ideal for Extra-Large Format Slabs: Delivers industrial-grade tensile and shear bonding strength, making it the premier choice for anchoring massive vitrified panels and thick natural stones securely on walls and floors.
-
Total Weatherproof & Water Resistance: Specially modified to repel intense monsoon rain ingress, freezing cycles, and blistering summer heat without losing its chemical bond integrity over years of exposure.
-
Advanced Anti-Slip & Non-Sag Grip: Features a dense initial grab matrix that tightly cinches heavy tile backings, preventing vertical sliding or sagging during challenging high-altitude wall placements.
-
Extended Open Time Utility: Offers a generous 30-minute open working window, allowing structural masonry crews ample time to shift, slide, and align spacer joints perfectly before the initial chemical cure sets.
-
Fully Conforms to IS 15477 Type IV: Certified to comply with strict IS 15477:2019 (Type IV T) and international ISO 13007 C2TES1 criteria, satisfying maximum safety clearances for commercial exterior cladding and facades.

Mixing & Application Guidelines
-
Water Ratio Mix: Gradually add roughly 1 part water to 3.8 parts powder by weight into a clean mixing container. Blend thoroughly using a slow-speed mechanical stirrer until a uniform, lump-free paste forms (approx. 0.26 parts water to 1 part powder).
-
Slaking Phase: Let the wet mix stand and react for 5 minutes, then stir briefly for 60 seconds. Do not attempt to add extra water after this step has passed.
-
Application Method: Comb the mixed adhesive layer onto the structurally sound surface using a professional notched trowel. For large format sheets and exterior vertical facade applications, back-buttering the entire back of the tile is mandatory to guarantee a 100% full bed contact area.
