Kerakoll Superflex Eco Highly Elastic Organic Mineral Tile Adhesive – 4 Kg
Kerakoll Superflex Eco is an eco-friendly, highly elastic polyurethane organic mineral adhesive engineered for high-performance fixing with absolute zero vertical slip. Formulated specifically for demanding architectural applications, this professional-grade two-component (two-part) adhesive accommodates structural movement, thermal expansion, and vibration.
Because it develops a completely water-resistant, non-sag bond without using water in its formulation, Superflex Eco is the safest choice for fixing water-sensitive natural stone, resin-bonded engineered marbles, and large-format vitrified tiles on highly deformable or non-absorbent surfaces.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Superior Elasticity & Vibration Resistance: Accommodates high deformability, making it perfect for substrates subject to expanding and flexing.
-
Stain-Protection for Delicate Stones: Ideal for premium marble and natural stone that tends to warp, sag, or form moisture stains when exposed to standard water-based adhesives.
-
Universal Substrate Adherence: Bonds smoothly to traditional mineral screeds, concrete, underfloor heating networks, and complex surfaces including wood, metal, steel, rubber, PVC, and existing glazed tiles (tile-on-tile).
-
Zero Vertical Slip (Thixotropic): Allows for effortless, non-sag application on walls, even when moving diagonally or from top to bottom with massive, heavy slabs.
-
Extended Open & Adjustability Time: Gives installers an optimized open working window ($\ge 30-60$ minutes) to position large-format tiles precisely.

How to Use for Best Results
-
Substrate Prep: Ensure the bonding surface is structurally sound, clean, compact, and completely free of dust, oils, grease, or rising dampness.
-
Mixing: Pour the liquid Part B catalyst entirely into the bucket containing Part A paste. Use a low-speed mechanical mixer ($\approx 400 \text{ rpm}$) working from the bottom upward until the paste achieves a smooth, completely uniform white color.
-
Application: Apply a fine contact layer onto the surface using the smooth side of a notched trowel to maximize mechanical grip. Then, comb additional adhesive with the notched side.
-
Tile Fixing: Press each tile firmly into place to guarantee full adhesive coverage on the back. For heavy traffic areas or external applications, utilize the double-spreading technique.
Safety & Storage Note: Store in its sealed original packaging at balanced temperatures and protect from frost. Mix only what can be comfortably applied within its 1-hour pot life.
