Kerakoll H40 Gel-White Highly Flexible Multipurpose Tile Adhesive – 20 kg
Kerakoll H40 Gel-White is a revolutionary, eco-friendly multipurpose gel adhesive engineered with advanced structural rheology. Rated Class C2 for its industrial-grade performance, this shock-absorbing white adhesive offers high deformability and an exceptionally long open time.
Designed specifically for modern architectural challenges, its unique variable consistency can be mixed to function either as a non-slump thixotropic paste for flawless wall installations or as a highly fluid mortar to ensure 100% full wettability underneath heavy, large-format vitrified tiles and delicate natural stones.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Variable Consistency Gel-Tech: Easily adapts to your installation requirements. Mix it thick for zero-slip wall performance, or fluid for effortless, void-free full bedding on floors.
-
Extended Open Time & Pot Life: Provides an open window of $\ge$ 60 minutes and a 4-hour pot life, giving installers ample time to precisely align large panels and intricate mosaics.
-
Zero Slump & Non-Slip: Easily supports the weight of heavy, massive tiles on walls without sinking, slipping, or sliding out of alignment.
-
Premium Structural Flex: Formulated to withstand substrate vibrations, structural movements, thermal expansion, and intense environmental stresses.
-
Stain-Safe White Formula: The bright white base prevents shadows or dark bleed-through when installing translucent glass mosaics, light marbles, and light-colored vitrified tile profiles.

How to Use for Best Results
-
Surface Prep: Ensure the substrate is fully cured, clean, compact, rigid, and clear of dust, curing agents, grease, or rising dampness. Highly porous concrete surfaces should be slightly dampened or primed first.
-
Mixing: Pour clean, potable water into a mixing container and add the H40 Gel powder. Mix thoroughly with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free gel paste forms. Allow the mix to slake (rest) for 5 minutes, then stir briefly before use.
-
Application: Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the substrate with the flat side of a trowel to key it into the surface, then comb it out with an appropriately sized notched trowel.
-
Tile Placing: For tiles with sides larger than 60 cm, or for heavy traffic applications, use the double-spreading (back-buttering) technique to ensure full coverage. Press tiles firmly into the wet adhesive bed using a rubber mallet to expel any trapped air.
