How to Use for Best Results

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the subfloor or wall is compact, dry, rigid, fully cured, and cleared of dust, paint, grease, or surface laitance.

2. Mixing: Pour the required clean water into a mixing tub and gradually add the H40 Gel-Grey powder. Mix thoroughly with a low-speed mechanical stirrer until a uniform, lump-free gel paste is achieved. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes, then remix briefly.

3. Application: Apply a smooth scrape-coat to the substrate with the flat edge of a trowel to key the adhesive into the surface, then comb it out immediately with an appropriately sized notched trowel.

4. Tile Installation: For large-format floor panels (sides over 60 cm) or heavy-traffic spaces, use the double-spreading (back-buttering) technique to guarantee complete adhesive transfer. Press tiles firmly into the wet adhesive bed using a rubber mallet to release any trapped air pockets.

Note: Because this product has a grey cement base, it is not recommended for translucent glass mosaics, light-colored translucent marbles, or white natural stones where color bleed-through or shading might be visible. Use H40 Gel-White for those delicate materials.
