How to Use for Best Results
-
Prepare the Joints: Ensure the joints are perfectly clean, dry, and free of dust or residual adhesive to at least 2/3 of the tile thickness to prevent color variations.
-
Mix: Gradually add 1 Kg of Fugabella Eco powder into roughly 0.34 litres of clean water. Mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer from the bottom up until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved. Let it stand for a couple of minutes before a brief re-mix.
-
Apply: Spread the grout evenly across the tile surface using a hard rubber grout float. Work diagonally relative to the joints, pressing the paste completely into the joint spaces.
-
Clean & Finish: Once the grout begins to firm up in the joint (typically when it becomes matte), clean the tile surface using a damp cellulose sponge in sweeping circular motions. Rinse the sponge frequently with clean water.
Pro Tip: When grouting highly porous natural stone or using highly contrasting grout colors, perform a patch test on a loose tile snippet to check for cleanability before full application.
