Key Features & Benefits
-
Class C2TE Performance: Formulated with high-strength cementitious binders to deliver superior tensile bond strength and heavy-duty holding power.
-
No Vertical Slip (T): High thixotropic properties provide excellent initial grab, holding vertical wall tiles and large-format kitchen backsplashes firmly in place without sagging.
-
Extended Open Adjusting Time (E): Features an optimized working window ($\ge$ 30 minutes) that prevents premature skinning, allowing installers plenty of time to precisely position and align layouts.
-
Eco-Friendly & Low VOC: Developed with active natural minerals to achieve exceptionally low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, contributing to safe indoor air quality.
-
Thick Bed Optimization: Capable of handling an adhesive bed thickness up to 15 mm, making it easy to iron out minor substrate irregularities or variations during application.
-
Cost-Effective Efficiency: Delivers the exact same high structural strength as Biofix White, offering an economical choice for non-translucent porcelain, vitrified tiles, and dark natural stones.

How to Use for Best Results
-
Substrate Preparation: Ensure the installation surface is fully cured, compact, compact, and completely free of dust, oils, grease, loose particles, or residual paint laitance.
-
Mixing: Pour the required clean water into a mixing bucket and slowly add the Biofix Grey powder. Mix continuously with a low-speed mechanical stirrer ($\approx$ 400 rpm) until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is achieved. Allow the mixture to slake (rest) for 2 to 3 minutes, then stir briefly again before application.
-
Application Technique: Apply a thin flat scrape-coat to the substrate with the flat edge of a trowel to key the adhesive into the surface, then comb immediately with an appropriately sized notched trowel.
-
Tile Embedding: Press each tile firmly into the wet mortar ridges using a slight twisting motion to achieve absolute transfer. For heavy vitrified tiles or high-traffic floor areas, use the back-buttering technique to eliminate hollow air pockets under the tiles.
Note: Because this product has a dark grey cement base, it is not recommended for translucent glass mosaics, light-colored translucent marbles, or white natural stones where color bleed-through or shading might be visible. Use Biofix White for those delicate materials.
